Graduation Party

Today, David and I got to meet Eric's whole family.  It was a whole lot of fun. I really enjoyed listening to peoples stories. Aunt Sandra was a hoot.  They were playing a game called Corn Hole.  It is where you throw bean bags through this hole on a board.  These people were very competitive.  Move out of the way of grandma..  She definitely was cut throat.
I am looking forward to meeting up again. It is a long drive but well worth it.

Good night to all.

Live Life As If There No Tomorrow!

Graduation

This is my own two children, Ashley and Wesley.  Both of them are college graduates this year.  Wesley graduated from Athens Tech with Automotive Collision and Paint Body Repair and Ashley graduated from Art Institute of Atlanta with Culinary Arts.  I am a very proud mama right now. I am so blessed to have two wonderful children. They are crazy just like their mother.  Both of them took a few year out of my life scaring me to death. Wesley for two years in a role ended up in the emergency room the day before Thanksgiving. The next Thanksgiving I duct taped him to the wall (not ready) I made him sit still and watch TV.  Needless to say we didn't visit the ER.
Ashley when she was 3 she decided to eat some wild berries that are on the briar bush.  I called the poison control center and they told me that those berries can kill a grown cow.  I had to give her Ipecac syrup to make her throw up.  She finally got rid of the berries and was fine.  Me on the other hand was a nervous wreck.
One day I was cleaning house and looked out and saw Wesley what looked like laying on the ground with his foot up against a tree. Arms folded under his head just relaxing. NOT..   I called out to Wesley and he did the ok sign, I then knew to investigate.  OMG cleaver Wesley was climbing the tree and he lost his footing and slipped wedging his foot between two small branches and fell. He couldn't get his foot out and he wasn't going to let me know he was stuck so he just laid back and was counting the leaves. I don't know which one it was either he didn't want to admit that he couldn't climb the tree without falling out ( you know moms you are going to fall) or he had knocked himself silly. Which one hurts his pride more.  Never know.

Well I am on my way to Atlanta for a party for Ashley. I will see you all soon.

Short Drive

Today my son Wesley came home from work and said that him and a friend Devin was going on a short drive, to INDIANA.
It's only 15 hour drive from here.  There most be a reason for such a long drive..

HUGS THAT LAST FOREVER

Today all I want to do is hug my children and tell them how proud I am of them, and how much that I love them and never let go.  I can't imagine my child being deathly sick.
Today I found out that a beautiful student at our school is very sick.  The helplessness that the parents are feeling right now, I can't fathom. Keep this family in your prayers.

Hug your child extra special today and tell them that you love them because you never know when it might be the last time that you will be able to say it.

The Yeary Family

Sorry that I didn't get back to you guys yesterday, when I got home I had so much that everyone else needed for me to for them that before I knew it, it was almost 11pm.  We all know that I need my beauty sleep.
Let me first introduce you to my family. My wonderful husband of 4 years is David Yeary. He is an amazing man, he will give the world to me if that is what I want.
He goes all out to make sure that I am happy and it is really weird because I have never had a man to treat me like that.  It is hard to get use to but I am trying really hard..
David had 5 girls when we met, the oldest is Jessica she is 27 then there is Allison 25, Beth 24, Kayt 20, and Kathy 17. Wow is was doing something right or wrong..
Could you imagine being in a house with 6 girls, all day. Well myself I only had two children Ashley 24 and Wesley 21.
David had told me some really good stories about the girls growing up but I will tell you that another day. Right now I just want you to get to know my family.

Did I mention that we also have a God son living with us? No? Well his name is Michael and he is 21 years old.  He came to us almost 3 years ago.  Michael is my son Wesley's good friend.  He needed a home so we opened our doors to him. He is crazy as a hoot.
We have some of our best laughs with him.

Tomorrow I am going to start telling you some of our best stories and how we all came to be.

Untill tomorrow.

Look to the right

Second entry, look to your right and see what I am talking about. I am following myself.  Oops!
Sit back it will come... Enjoy the laugh.

Here we go

Today is my first Blog, I have so much that I have to tell you.  My family is so hilarious.  We have this saying in our family when one of them says or does something funny or stupid that they have inducted themselves on the wall of shame.
If I were to write down every time someone made it on the wall the paper trail would be 5 miles long.
How many times have you been looking for your sunglasses and they were on your head, or looking for your keys and they were in your hand. Well we all have done that but my family takes it to the next step.  Like trying to listen through a microphone or calling them self..
Tomorrow I will start with our daughter Kayt.  We call her our onion. You know how an onion has layers well that is our Kayt.
Until tomorrow.
Live Life like there is NO tomorrow.
